Multithreading on M1 Macs
I was just wondering if anyone has tried NCIRF multithreading on Apple silicon (M1, M1 Pro, M1 Max). Does it function as expected compared to Intel chipsets and, if so, how does the performance compare? Thanks. -Seth

It took us a while to investigate your question by collecting all laptops available. Here's the testing condition below.
Adult male LAO 25 CRA 25 (PPA 25 PSA 25) 70 kVp, 6.83 mm HVL SID 80 Field H x Field W 20 x 20 cm2 History 1e7
Attached is the results from four laptops with different CPU configuration. We do not see significantly improved performance for the MacBook M1 though. iMac Pro runs great but its price tag makes the comparison unfair. Hope this helps!
